Our Team
Our commitment to maintaining the Alliance standard of excellence means that you can enjoy your Jiu Jitsu training safely. All our instructors are certified through Alliance Jiu Jitsu, so you can be sure you are in good hands, practicing Jiu Jitsu and becoming part of the Alliance Jiu Jitsu Family.
Gabriel Goulart
Gabriel Goulart is a notable Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner with significant accomplishments in the sport. In 2008, he won the World Championships in both his weight class and the absolute division, competing in a total of 13 matches (5 in his weight category and 8 in the open class). He received his brown belt from Fabio Gurgel while on the podium. In 2010, Goulart was awarded his black belt (#45) from Gurgel after securing the world championship title in the brown belt division for the second consecutive year. In 2015, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he continues to share the values of Jiu-Jitsu and positively influence others through the sport. He also opened a Jiu-Jitsu school, Alliance San Fernando Valley, with his wife, Mariane Leles.
Timmy Schilling
Timmy began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2011, earning his blue belt in 2013 and quickly transitioning into teaching roles, including leading the kids’ program. After earning his purple belt in 2015 and brown belt in 2017, he became a full-time instructor. Now reconnecting with Professor Pizol reignited his passion, allowing him to return to teaching and training.

With a presence in over 30 countries and boasting more than 30 thousand students, Alliance Jiu Jitsu holds the remarkable distinction of being the sole team to secure the IBJJF world championship title an impressive 14 times.
